Species: Timber Wolf
Body Type: Agile
Dust, shadows, a fiend of the night? Yes, all could be used to describe Arcania (though the last is probably the most accurate). She carries her father's shadowed coloring for the most part, though her mother shows herself in the patches of tan around her muzzle and the ends of her legs and the white under her chin and on her stomach. Her eyes are a bright amber, another trait carried over from her father, and there is almost always a calculating or irritable look to them. Rarely is there any sort of happiness there, and while fondness once glimmered there for a very brief time it has since vanished completely and their bottomless depths do not show any signs of allowing it to return.
Arcania carries herself with bravado and grace, clearly self-assured. When she walks it is with a steady, confident gait that carries hints of danger and seduction, whichever you prefer to see. She isn't built up or bulky like some females are, but neither is she a stick figure. Arcania loves her figure and knows how to show it off to her advantage or appear unassuming if she needs to. However because she doesn't have the bulk of other wolves she isn't as well built for fighting and therefore spends most of her time sneaking around in the shadows.
Stripe of brown on her nose.
Arcania has attitude. Lots and lots of attitude. Always striving to be at the top and stay there, she will do anything it takes to get in with the higher ups and earn herself a place where others look up to her. It wouldn't faze her to have to beg, barter, steal, or fight for that top spot and she uses all of her intelligence to plot every move she makes so that it will end up benefiting her in the long run.
She chooses her companions in this way as well. Few wolves can get close enough to her to actually be called a friend, and those select individuals are often of the same mindset. Hyper and overly friendly people annoy her to no end, and while she might put up with them if it's absolutely necessary it will not be without a fair deal of irritation and disgruntled sighs. Males are a bit of an exception to this however. Arcania will tolerate males that are submissive as long as she can control them completely, but if they are sovereign to someone else she will put them in their place. If, however, they are scheming, dark, and temperamental just like she is (especially if they have a good flirtatious streak) they'll get along splendidly. A single act is all it really takes to earn her respect and interest, and a single act is all it takes to lose it again. She has placed her trust in others before and lived to regret it, so while deep (very deep) down she wishes she could try again, Arcania highly doubts that will happen.
Despite her easily agitated exterior, Arcania is willing to help those she considers her friends. Especially if the help requires her to do some nefarious deeds or anything like that. Which isn't to say that she won't be completely sarcastic and poking fun at whoever requested her help the entire time, but she will do the best she can. She has the ability to be kind, it just doesn't show up very often. Not even pups can escape her wrath if they push her the wrong way. Arcania wouldn't have a problem with sending them back to their mother crying, even if it meant she would have a wolfhunt after her.
Her attitude has not changed all that much in the time away from the Point, though she has now given up her urge to lead a pack. She thinks she is too old now, and her main focus is to leave behind something to remember her by. Be it finding herself some underlings and teaching them her ways or perhaps even having a little one of her own, that is Arcania's new goal. As such she will be slightly more sociable than she usually is, though the darkness will easily shine through. Despite being of an older age she is still the same sly demon she has always been (though she will watch her tongue a little better seeing as a fight is the last thing she needs).
Arcania started out in the North, but when she found life unsatisfying up there she began to move south, finding more opportunities there.
Arcania meets a Cover by the name of Alice on the sandbar and they discuss packs.
Arcania meets Valdur to learn more about Adega.
Running into Anthrax on his way back to Dirac gives her a taste of what that pack is like, though she doesn't know it.
Running into the blind Fawn gives her information about a potential pack run by females.
Weldering tells her his views on packs and she continues on with this in mind.
Again she stumbles upon Dirac and, after unintentionally irritating Vengeance, she agrees to the mission he poses her.
She comes across War playing in the river and finds he amuses her. Perhaps pups aren't so bad after all.
Sonja gives her a taste of wolf and Arcania has to admit it isn't half bad.
Running into Sibyl gives Arcania her first actual friend in Dirac.
Arcania hunts Satchel down after his disrespects the Seraphim in a meeting, intrigued by his audacity.
