At first, the land looks just as lush as that which surrounds it. Twisting branches and tree trunks spiral heavenward, tendrils of mist and fog intertwining with the curved plant life. One good sniff, however, rebukes any idea that this is a thriving area; charred ground crumbles beneath the feet and damp soot clings to the paws and fur of those who tread through the forest. All of the trees are dead and there is little green to be found anywhere within the area. It is an eerie place, especially at night, for the moonlight refracts strangely off of the mist and can turn the already spooky forest into a garish nightmare.
